READY TO MAKE THEIR MARK

The Detroit Lions were searching for a trusted hospitality partner to operate retail sales for Lions branded merchandise at Ford Field.

I was asked to create packaging kit to response to the RFP.  This theme would showcase my client’s innovative retail concepts as aligned in vision and an asset to the Detroit Lions operations needs.

“Ready to Make Our Mark” is a rally cry. My client’s willingness to make an investment to create an impact in the Lions retail business. The outer box of the bound proposal features a Lion claw cutout revealing blue Lion hair “scar” on the underside.

The inner visuals feature fans appointed in retail lions branded merchandise. The visuals feature instagram social media photo posting treatments displaying their fanfare.

THE PHOTO SHOOT

I created an environment to allow the models to facepaint each other like fans preparing for a big Lions game. The results show the final result of facepaint in studio, staging the models as if they were in the stands at a live game.

Inside the box, underneath the binder feature a pair of lions branded oakley sunglass that are shown on the inside cover of the binder on the model.

THE CONCEPT BOARD

Four concepts presented to the client. The concepts were, Facepaint, Lions Roar Meter, “One Pride” and “Fresh Meat”. These were jumping off points for discussing appropriate creative directions we could take.
