DESIGNING AN ACTIVE LIFESTYLE FESTIVAL IN THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS
5K festivals have become increasing popularized over the years. The client of the agency Alex was contracting with wanted to increase occupancy of their Colorado hotel property during the slower offseason.
PICTURED ABOVE AND BELOW: Website design and registration portal, designed to bring to life the wilderness in the Rockies.
The agency invented the Wellderness concept a 5K & 10K run, wellness, yoga and music festival with the austere Rocky Mountains as a visual backdrop.
MY ROLE
The event needed support materials leading up to the inaugural event in May 2019. I was contracted to design and develop the materials: printed promotional materials, digital advertising materials, visual assets for the event road signs, inflatable entrance arch, website and social media videos.

THE RESULTS
Hotel occupancy reached capacity for the event.
Runners ran with the Elk and are looking forward to future Wellderness events.
