AN ENVIRONMENTAL VERSION OF A DIGITAL STOREFRONT

BRINGING THE ENERGY SAVING WEBSITE TO LIFE

The National Grid Marketplace launched their digital marketplace to purchase energy saving lightbulbs, smart devices and gadgets to help curb power use. They wanted to promote the digital storefront.

The agency pitched the concept of a traveling marketplace that showcases many of the products physically. The exhibit travels to high traffic offices and public spaces.

MY ROLE

I designed a visual concept for a mobile “smart home” in a 5ft x 5ft footprint to represent key parts of a home that could significantly benefit from energy saving. Bathroom, living room and kitchen where represented with modern minimalist illustrations and products where displayed on a modular pegboard system with mueseum like-descriptions and QR codes and iPad displays that take customers to the online portal.
